Thanks to funding from the WLCF, the Williams Lake Seniors Activity Centre successfully replaced its aging gas stove with a new model—an
essential upgrade for a kitchen serving lunch daily to its members, now 810 and counting.

Completed in February 2025, the installation has already supported the preparation of more than 7,100 meals.

With the kitchen busier than ever, having reliable, modern equipment is critical to continuing daily meal service, special events, and community gatherings.

This project is a great example of how infrastructure improvements can directly enhance quality of life for seniors in our
community.
