Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club has been busy with lofty dreams and goals. A new Lodge all set up with solar panels at Bull Mountain. Not an easy undertaking from a small group of dedicated volunteers. Williams Lake Community Forest provided granting to add a necessary fence around the Solar array installation. It will provide protection from damage due to the cattle that range on that land. A community gem that has over 350 club members as well as an active ski school and day users. You can be sure they are wishing for snow to cover the hills so they can enjoy all their hard work. If you are looking to get outside take a drive and check out the new facilities and admire the new fencing as seen below.
Rumor has it they are working on a mural inside the lodge which will be fun to check out.
