Horsefly River Roundtable is excited and thankful for the help of the William Lake Community Forest’s funding with the Boardwalk Replacement Project.

The boardwalk is an important ecosystem connection to the walking trail along the Horsefly River, which gets used year-round by the local public, school educational outings, and many who enjoy nature and the “Story Walk “.
The HRR were happy with the engineered plans from Octo Engineering, however, with enormous cost increases, they had to scale down the design.
With funding from WLCF, the Horsefly River Roundtable (HRR) purchased the culverts needed for the boardwalk replacement project.
The Horsefly River Roundtable look forward to finishing this project and sharing the final results with WLCF.
