Just in case…

With support from the Williams Lake Community Forest, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was purchased and installed in the basement of the Williams Lake & District Seniors’ Centre, where fitness classes take place.

The project was completed exactly as planned, with the AED installed on site and fitness instructors provided with instructional information on its proper use.
The Seniors Centre continues to see strong participation, averaging more than 450 visits each month for fitness related activities while serving a membership of more than 815 of our local Seniors.

The addition of the AED provides increased peace of mind for instructors, participants, and community groups using the space.
