Hello, my name is Alexa Augustine, and I am entering my fourth and final year of Biomedical Studies at UNBC. I grew up on my family’s ranch in the small rural community of Horsefly, where I raised my own cattle herd. My experiences in the agriculture industry, along with shadowing and volunteering in healthcare, have shaped my decision to pursue a Doctor of Optometry degree. I look forward to continuing my educational journey and am excited to gain new experiences in the field of eye care.
