Hello my name is Joey Augustine. I’ve completed my first year in Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. I have started getting relevant work experience at Gibraltar mine, where I have had the amazing opportunity to shadow an engineer while working as a summer student in the Pit Shop. I’ve been involved in 4-H for 12 years, and continue to give back to my community when not attending university through the Horsefly Volunteer Fire Department and outside my community throughout BC with our Structure Protection Crew.
