Jun 2003	CWL again submitted an expression of interest for a Community Forest
Jul 2007	CWL invited by Province of B.C. to apply for Community Forest Agreement
Mar-May 2008	Initial meetings with local forest industry and First Nations
Jan 2009 – May 2011	Various discussions between CWL & WLIB and meetings with Ministry officials regarding the City’s request that the invitation to apply be expanded to also include the WLIB
May 2011	Invitation from Province for WLIB and CWL to apply in partnership for Community Forest Agreement
Oct 2011	Boundaries of community forest accepted by District Manager
Nov 2011 onwards	Open House meetings and public input solicited
Aug 2013	Application submitted to Province
Dec 2013	Partners appoint Board of Directors
Feb 2014	Management Plan approved
